I have found it crazy, but true we focus more on someones words and what they actually mean, if we know nothing about them.
A jury of your peers. But really (lets say)a 20 year old on trial for breaking and entering and theft.. his jury you ask? people between 30-60.. some of the 12 years of college, that live in 300,000$ homes.. But the guy on trial? Lives on streets, his parents both died, and he has no one but himself. Dropped out of school at 15.
So how is it a fair trial if these people who are making 70,000$ a year, who grew up in a different time are the ones who are his jury of peers? All Im saying is sometimes the court systems are a little more messed, than we actually take the time to consider. But is anyone really doing anything about it? Not. so. much.
