Sorry, it’s seriously been so long. I am sorry for that. I lost my old laptop and just yesterday got my new one. I am back though, and boy oh boy do I have plenty of topics to talk about. So stick around & let’s have some adult debates! :)

The Pledge

When I was in Jr. High and high school I realized I had the OPTION to stay seated during The Pledge. I feel like as kids we were taught that it was something we MUST do in the course of a day. But we were never really told that we were able to sit down, or not participate.

So when I was 13, I stayed seated for the first time thru The Pledge.. I love my country, and my religious beliefs should not matter to any of you, or any of the people in the school that I was apart of. I simply CHOSE to stay seated because it was an option, and I wanted to excerise my right to make that decision.

A passing teacher aide came to the table I was seated at and said, “Stand up.” I simply ignored her request and after The Pledge was done, she looked at me and very pissed off said, “How can you be so disrespectful?” I replied, “You made the choice to say, and I made the choice not to. That is all there is to it. It was not disrespectful, and if YOU feel that way, then that lies on you, not myself.”

I got sent to the office, which was foolish. The VP told me that it WAS INDEED my CHOICE and that I did not have to participate, so from then on, I stayed seated.

I never did it to upset anyone, or push buttons. I didnt do it because I was AGAINST The Pledge or its meaning.. I did it because I am not a mindless drone, I dont think those kids understood that they didnt HAVE to do it. I dont think half of them understood the words they were saying or what was happening. It cant be a true Pledge if everyone doing it, is simply doing it out of habit.

Gay therapy?

I am not really sure where the concept came from that you could get rid of the gay from therapy, OR praying.. but its absurd, to me.

You are attracted to who you are attracted to. I am not quite sure why people are so concerned about others sexuality anyway.. do you not have enough time consumed with your own life already? Why do you feel the need to bash or look down upon homosexuality?

Obviously, I have zero problem with homosexuality, I believe they should carry on their relationships like a hetorosexual couple does. I dont see the difference. We are all human, so there should not be LAWS, or restrictions on the rights for homosexuals.

I recently stumbled across a 21 year old who has 3 children, and is 17 weeks along with her 4th.. I am not judging.

WHAT MAKES ME SICK IS THAT HER TODDLERS, NO OLDER THAN 5.. SHE HAS CREATED A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT FOR!

That is absolutely disgusting, why would anyone want to put their kids out there like that? Or better yet, why would they want to make themselves look so incredibly foolish.

A jury of your peers. But really (lets say)a 20 year old on trial for breaking and entering and theft.. his jury you ask? people between 30-60.. some of the 12 years of college, that live in 300,000$ homes.. But the guy on trial? Lives on streets, his parents both died, and he has no one but himself. Dropped out of school at 15.

So how is it a fair trial if these people who are making 70,000$ a year, who grew up in a different time are the ones who are his jury of peers? All Im saying is sometimes the court systems are a little more messed, than we actually take the time to consider. But is anyone really doing anything about it? Not. so. much.

YOUNG GUYSdo this as well though. I feel like not enough people bring attention to the fact that there are plenty of younger guys running around without their shirts on, or wearing their shorts/pants so that you can ALMOST see all their gold & treasures..

But some of these younger guys & gals really are mistaking classy sex appeal, for next to no clothes, trashy, slutty outfits. If only they could take off those distortions that their vision is under, they could see how not cute it really is.

I mean sure we all dress a little slutty from time to time when we go out with the girls, or are at the beach.. But some people just really are TASTELESS.

I think a lot of people are under the impression that you need to get married and start having kids sooner than later in order to be “living” or something along those lines.

I see a lot of people rushing into getting married. If 2 people want to spend the rest of their lives together, then why the need to sign that piece of paper 2 months after deciding that? I think it is acceptable to wait months, years even to finally get married.

I am not in any way saying a marriage can’t last if it is sooner rather than later. Im just wondering what the rush really is?

In my opinion, MOST OF THOSE PARENTS deserve to have their children taken away. WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THEM?! Pixie stick, a whole can of hairspray, 10 hours of practice a day, make up, skimpy outfits, ect.

I think that kind of stuff should be done when they are a bit older and can choose if they would like to participate or not. You’re setting your children up for these unrealistic lives at an age that is crucial to their development.

EVEN WORSE is those broke parents, that get on there saying “We used all of our money for his/his dreams.” No you used all your money on your own pipe dream, fool.

Packing

My thoughts on packing when traveling or moving isHAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO IT! Honestly though. Its too much damn work. It takes forever, we dont do it until the last minute, and then we grow grey hair & rip the not grey ones out. So if you are going somewhere just pay someone else to pack it. In the long run you will thank me. :)

Obviously for so many of us, this is constantly being brought up, or we are experiencing it, losing it, hating it, trying to find it, trying to get over it, ect. For people that have been in love, you know how consuming it is, how great it can feel, how hard it can be. There is so much that goes into it. But here’s the thing I cannot understand; why do so many people zero in on love being their only issue?

We all know those people who are obsessed with finding love. They are constantly looking, finding, and losing love. I am a fairly positive person, I like to think of myself as a very level headed person, and I don’t know how so many people can think that is their biggest concern? What about education, family, their children, living quarters, job, religion, politics, traveling, I don’t how about anything else in this world. Just a thought.
